Feeling like a blimp ?

 Are you tired of jeans that won't fit anymore. Dresses which are too tight. Being tired because of your weight. There are many remedies for weight loss and exercise is one of them. I know it is hard to get into a certain schedule for exercise. Do you exercise in the morning, during lunch or in the evening. It is definitely not easy to decide and you have to be persistent. But then one day you do not feel like it. And one day goes into two, then three and so on.

​Healthy eating is another remedy and this one is probably easier to maintain. Healthy eating promotes weight loss and fights diabetes.The thing is most people do NOT like healthy foods. Fatty fish, leafy greens, lentils, broccoli, flax seeds, squash to name a few. To make a daily menu out of these healthy foods get's pretty boring. Not all healthy foods are boring and blah though. Let's see if you like these foods/snacks as part of your healthy diet: shirataki noodles, strawberries, nuts, greek yogurt, eggs. Nuts like almonds, brazil nuts (yummi), cashews, hazelnuts, macadamia (very filling), pecans, walnuts and pistachios. A handful every day does wonders. Out of the food spices category the following are very healthy especially fighting diabetes. Turmeric benefits kidney health in type-2 diabetes patients. Cinnamon can lower blood sugar levels and improve insulin sensitivity. Garlic goes with just about any meal, including greens and fish and can be very helpful decreasing blood sugar levels, blood pressure levels and inflammation in people with type-2 diabetes. Further more some oils and seeds are beneficial against fighting diabetes. Flaxseeds are very healthy and high in fiber, keep them in the fridge. Chia seed is another wonderful food low in carbs and high in fiber. Extra virgin olive oil is very healthy for heart health, improving triglycerides and HDL which are often at an unhealthy level in type-2 diabetes patients. Apple cider vinegar, made from apples of course (another very healthy snack btw) can improve insulin sensitivity and reduce blood sugar levels.
